Call for Villages: Build hands-on learning spaces at CONFidence 2026
At the heart of cybersecurity lies its community – experienced professionals, passionate leaders, and experts pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. CONFidence Villages provide a unique opportunity to bring this community together, fostering mentorship, cooperation, and hands-on learning in a highly interactive environment.
The Call for Villages at CONFidence 2026 is now open. We invite specialists, researchers, and community leaders to create spaces where attendees can learn from skilled pros, engage in real-world exercises, and deepen their knowledge in a specific area of cybersecurity. Villages can include workshops, live demonstrations, challenges, or experiments – all designed to offer practical, immersive learning experiences.
By hosting a Village, you contribute to knowledge-sharing, skill development, and the growth of the cybersecurity community. Participants can explore specialized topics, exchange ideas with renowned experts, and gain insights that go far beyond traditional lectures.
We are especially interested in Villages covering:
- Offensive and defensive security
- Malware analysis and reverse engineering
- Cloud and container security
- Hardware and IoT security
- Social engineering and phishing awareness
…but we welcome any hands-on initiative that allows the community to learn, cooperate, and share skills.
Submission deadline: 15 March 2026.
Villages can be organized solo or in teams, with full support from the CONFidence team.
Take part in shaping the cybersecurity community and create a Village where learning, mentorship, and practical skills come together. Apply now to CONFidence 2026.
