Call for Papers: What are we looking for?

Call for Papers: What are we looking for?

The Call for Papers for CONFidence 2026 is now officially open. We invite cybersecurity professionals, researchers, and decision-makers to submit talks that share real-world experience and practical lessons learned. CONFidence is where the security community comes together to exchange knowledge grounded in how systems are actually built, broken, and defended.

CFP deadline: 15 March 2026. Apply here.

What makes CONFidence different

CONFidence has built its reputation on technical depth and practical relevance. Our audience consists mainly of hands-on security professionals who value talks they can learn from and apply in their work.

We especially value real-world case studies, original research, and lessons from incidents and deployments. We do not prioritize product or vendor marketing talks and pure theory that is not validated in practice.

If your work comes from real systems, real incidents, or real research, it belongs here.

CONFidence 2026 is structured around three main technical tracks that reflect how security work happens in practice: Offense, Defense, Future Tech, and an exclusive, invite-only Exec Track.

What makes a strong CFP submission

When preparing your proposal, be as clear and specific as possible. Strong submissions clearly explain what the audience will learn, describe the technical value of the talk, show that the content is based on real research or incidents, and, if possible, include tools, data, or experiments. This helps the Program Committee understand the value of your talk.

How submissions are reviewed

All submissions are evaluated by the CONFidence Program Committee, a group of experienced security professionals representing different areas of the field. The committee reviews proposals for relevance, originality, and practical value. Learn more about our Program Committee members.
